How can I track the results of my referrals?
In the User Tools area, click on "Sales Report". You will see the following information for each of the promotional codes assigned to your account:
- Leads – any customer who called into the toll free number, and provided their name, phone number, and address. This is updated on a weekly basis usually on Tuesdays, and shows leads booked through the previous Sunday.
- Appointments – a lead that requested an ADT salesperson to come to their home to provide a security system. This is updated on a weekly basis usually on Tuesdays, and shows appointments booked through the previous Sunday.
- Installed Sales – a system has been installed in the customer's home, is active, and the customer has made his initial payment to ADT – you get paid a commission from your referral that results in an installed sale by ADT. This data is updated on the 10th business day of each month, and shows all sales marked as closed by ADT Finance through the last Friday of the previous calendar month. (If a sale is not showing as closed, then ADT Finance has not yet marked it as closed. Please wait until the next update to check status, or provide us with specific details (name, address, phone number and install date) of the customer in question and we will research).

Also in the User Tools area, click on "Referral Report". You will see the leads, appointments and installed sales for each of your business colleagues whom you referred to become ADT promoters.
When do I get paid for sales from my referrals?
You will receive a commission check from Alternate Channels, LLC for all installed sales in a given month, approximately 30 days after the end of that month.
How much printed collateral can I order?
- When you sign up for an account, you can get 50 free sell sheets mailed to you
- After you have at least 1 closed sale, you can order another 50
I ordered printed collateral, when will I receive it?
In approximately 10-14 business days. Remember, you can always download and print collateral with your promotional code on it as well. Just choose the "Download a PDF and print my own collateral" option.
Can I tell my business colleagues about this site so they can earn money promoting ADT?
- Absolutely! For colleagues at other companies, just have them go to www.ADTpays.com and sign up.
- For your colleagues at your company, you can request additional unique tracking codes (promo codes) in the User Tools area of your account (note: only the primary account holder has access to results, if you want your colleague to have access they can sign up for their own account).
How can I get a Banner for my website?
If you'd like to put a banner on your website please send an e-mail to support@ADTpays.com requesting to participate in the banner program along with your website address and a description of where on the website you will place the banner. We can help you get set up with a banner.
Who will my commission checks be made out to?
If you registered with a business name your checks will be made out to that business. If you chose to have checks made payable directly to you, you will need to provide us with your Social Security number via our Secure Server – instructions for this will be displayed once you have clicked on the confirmation e-mail link you received after submitting your application.
I referred someone but never received my commission check?
You will not receive a commission check after you refer someone. You must either get an installed sale yourself to receive a commission or your referral must get an installed sale and you will receive a part of their commission.
I lost my password, how can I retrieve it?
Next to the log in area there is a box with a "?" in it. Click this box and it will bring you to a page where you can enter your email address. support@ADTpays.com will then email your password to you.
I can't log into my account. Please help.
You can not log into your account until it is approved. There are two reasons why your account may not yet be approved. First, you may be ineligible to become an ADT promoter, or your application may be missing some information. If your application has not yet been approved for this reason, you will receive an email explaining why. Please provide us with the information requested in this email and we will be happy to approve your application. Once your application is approved, you will be able to log into your account.
The second reason why your account may not yet be approved is that before we can approve your application, you must click on the link sent to you by support@ADTpays.com to finalize your application. This link helps us confirm the e-mail address and verify that the application was completed by the registered promoter - and not on your behalf by a third party.
Once you have clicked on this link, we will be able to approve your application. Once your account is approved, you will be able to log into your account. If you have not received the email with this link, please contact us at support@ADTpays.com and we will be happy to re-send this email. Also, check your Spam or Junk folders, to see if our email went there.
How do I refer customers?
- Hand out your collateral to a potential ADT customer. You can access this collateral by logging into your account at www.ADTpays.com, clicking on User Tools, and clicking on Request Collateral. You can the order 50 printed copies of the collateral or download a PDF file and print as many copies as you would like. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 3 weeks to receive the 50 printed copies of the collateral, so if you have someone to refer right away, you may want to download the PDF file and print copies to get you started.
- Your referral (the potential customer) must call the 800# listed on the collateral to schedule their appointment. When they call, they will be asked for your 6 digit promo code (which starts with a letter), and which is printed on the collateral as well. This is how you will be credited for the referral and this is also how the phone rep will know to give the appointment to the appropriate sales rep.
If your referral calls any 800# other than the number on the collateral or if they call the sales rep directly, you will not be credited for the referral. Once an appointment has been scheduled using any procedure other than that listed above, we are unable to retroactively credit you for the referral.
I can't find my promo code/800#. Please help.

How does the Referral Program work?
- Have the person or business that wants to promote ADT Security Services visit ADTpays.com and complete the application process.
- Be sure to instruct them to include your unique 6-digit promo codes in the "Referral Code" field (next to their Email address) during their registration.
- This will ensure that you get the referral commission for their sales.
How do I know when a person I referred to ADTpays.com signed up?
- ADTpays.com will send an email to you when the referral's application is approved, notifying you that their account is active.
- You can check the status of your referrals' leads in the "Referral Report" within "User Tools".
I am an ADT sales rep and I cannot log into ADTpays.com. Please help.
Please make sure you are logging into www.ADTselfgen.com and not www.ADTpays.com, as ADTpays.com is where the promoters register and ADTselfgen.com is where all ADT managers and reps are registered.
What are the steps to register?
Go to www.ADTpays.com. Under the sign up tab, follow the instructions for submitting an application. There are two options for payment. Please note the requirements and follow the directions if choosing to make the checks payable to "me." Once you've submitted your online application, go into your email account and open the email from support@ADTpays.com. Click on the link inside of that email to confirm your application. At that point, your application will be submitted for consideration.
What if I don't receive an email to confirm my application once I've completed the application?
Please check the junk/spam folders of your email account. If it isn't there, please notify us at support@ADTpays.com and we will resend the email.
Why do I get the voicemail message when faxing you documents?
Our phone number and fax number are the same number. Please wait one moment and the fax machine will detect the fax and accept it.
How will I know when my account is active?
You will receive an email from support@ADTpays.com stating that your account has been approved and is active.
Will the ADT collateral be mailed to me automatically?
No. Once you receive an email stating that your account has been approved, you will then need to login to www.adtpays.com to order your collateral. Click on the User tools tab and then on the request collateral link. From that screen, you will able to both order collateral from ADT to be mailed to your home and download a pdf of your collateral that can be printed at anytime.
